If what you're talking about is what I'm thinking about, then yes. *would rather not actually mention the 'deed' itself* Yes, that party was on the day of his birthday (that's why I was trying to bake that cake)...would you mind if I asked you to make him something for my part as well?

I think I know what you're talking about, but... *does not want to get embarrassed in front of Mitsuru* ...that was. An interesting cake. But I wouldn't mind doing it for you, but you're going to write 'Happy Birthday' so it shows you did something.
